🛑🌍 Why an Earthquake Drill in Mississippi?
Even though earthquakes are rare here, Mississippi can still feel the effects of distant ones. We also sit near the New Madrid Seismic Zone. Our school participated in the Great Shake Out drill today. 
Today’s drill teaches students how to Drop, Cover, and Hold On—a simple action that can save lives. Just like fire or tornado drills, it’s about being ready for anything. 💪
