Welcome to Third Grade!  I am Ms. Lorna Jarvis and I am looking forward to working with you and your student.  Here is a little background information on me.

I grew up in a small town in Southeastern Washington and attended Eastern Washington State University, where I earned a BA in Elementary Education in 1993.  

 

After graduation I taught in Washington for 5 years, then relocated to Las Vegas where I taught for 7 years.  In 2007 my family and I relocated again, hopefully for the last time to the beautiful state of Mississippi. I have been teaching at Martin Bluff since 2015

 

I have two adult sons, the oldest lives here on the coast with his wife and son (the light of my life!)  The youngest coaches the offensive line for the Southeast Missouri RedHawks.

 

A few of my favorite things are reading, crafting, art, teaching third grade and football!
