Greetings!  

I am Shaun Mims from Terry, Mississippi.  I reside in Moss Point MS with my husband and three girls.  My husband is a firefighter with the City of Moss Point and he loves to cook.  Bar-b-que is his specialty.  He owns Buddies House of Food on Main Street in Moss Point.  In addition to cooking, we enjoy watching our girls dance, and participate in church functions.  Joy, Hope, and Faith are a part of various clubs and organizations in the Pascagoula-Gautier School District, where I am proud to serve.

 

This is my 20th year as an educator.  I graduated high school in 1998 from Terry High.  I began teaching in Jackson, MS in 2001 after earning a Bachelors from the University of Southern Miss.  In 2013 I finished my Master of Ed. degree with William Carey University, and in 2015 I completed the process of becoming a Nationally Board Certified Teacher.  

 

My goal is to teach the WHOLE child.  I want students to leave my class with more knowledge and compassion than when they came. This year our theme is Be a Pineapple:  Stand tall, be proud, but stay sweet on the inside.  I love teaching and I want my students to love learning.
