Welcome to Mrs. Gorman's IDEAS class website! On this page, you will find classroom newsletters, information, and photos of our learning experiences.
Hi! My name is Lauren Lee Gorman, and I was born and raised in Pascagoula, Mississippi. After graduating high school, I attended The University of Southern Mississippi and graduated in 2009 with my B.S. in Elementary Education. I taught grades K-2 before receiving my Master's Degree in Gifted and Talented Education from William Carey University. This school year marks my 13th as an educator and my 8th year as an IDEAS Teacher. Teaching is my passion, and I am so happy to have your child in my classroom. This year I hope to challenge and engage your child with fun and meaningful learning experiences.
My husband, Chris, and I have a one year old daughter, Grace Elizabeth, and we have two fur babies, Maggie and Tucker. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy spending time with family, traveling, boating, listening to live music, attending art festivals, cooking, reading, and exercising.
I'm looking forward to an exciting year, full of brain-stretching activities! Please feel free to contact me any time at [email protected]
