Welcome to Martin Bluff Elementary Physical Education!!
I have been teaching since 1987. This year will be my 17th year in the PGSD. I started teaching at the college level when I was 26 years old as a graduate assistant at Eastern Kentucky University. This is where teaching Physical Education started for me. I enjoyed it so much and decided this is what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. 37 years later, I am still teaching P.E. and love it so much. I have also spent 25 years coach basketball, as well as other sports (softball, track, tennis, golf and volleyball).
I am a proud 1986 graduate of Mississippi College with a B.S. in Secondary Education. In 1987, I received my Master's of Science in Physical Education/Sports Administration from Eastern Kentucky University. I am a member and on the council for Mississippi Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (MAHPERD)
I hope as the year progress's you and your child will gain some knowledge that I share with them about being active. Many activities we do will be related to sports and life long activities that can be played anywhere.
