I am excited and thankful that I work at the best elementary school as the Special Education Self-Contained Teacher! This will be my 18th year in education and my 3rd year in Special Education. I spent most of my teaching career teaching 8th grade Math, but have also taught Keystone, 7th/8th Grade Math Lab, and Adult GED courses. I also served as an Adjunct Instructor at MGCCC for several years. 

 

I was raised on the MS Gulf Coast and graduated from Biloxi High School. I then attended the University of Southern MS where I graduated with a Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management. I went on to earn a Masters degree in Business Administration from William Carey University.  Shortly after, I pursued my Teaching License. In my free time I enjoy spending time with family & friends, traveling, and trying new restaurants! I am a proud mother of a son in the Air Force; as well as happily married with a stepson still in High School. 

 

I absolutely love my students and am excited about this 25/26 school year where "Learning is our goal!"
