Martin Bluff Elementary - Electronic Absence Submission
Electronic submission of absences via email is accepted by Martin Bluff Elementary.
If you decide to email please indicate your child’s name and the reason for the absence.
Email must be sent from the address on record in SAM Spectra.
In order for any absence (except a 5th reported absence) to be excused, the parent/guardian must submit the absence to the school office before 2:00 pm on the day of the absence. A call out from our automated system will still go out on the day of the absence.
***Excused absences are those absences for (1) personal illness; (2) death in the family or serious illness; (3) observance of religious holidays of a student’s own faith; (4) school-related field trip or educational activities approved by the district and/or building administrator; and (5) special circumstances, such as court summons, family emergencies, weather extremes, etc., which require immediate action and that the school principal deems necessary. ***
